Full Stack Data Warehouse & Reporting Engineer

Job description

Your tasks

• Design, development, and optimization of interactive Power BI dashboards (including data modeling and performance tuning)
• Advising departments on self-service BI, KPI definition, data strategies, and best practices
• Collaboration on the design and expansion of a modern Azure-based data warehouse architecture
• Development and implementation of ETL/ELT processes (Azure Data Factory, SQL, Data Vault)
• Setting up automated tests for data pipelines and reports, and ensuring high data quality
• Setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and automating development and data processes
• Assumption of data responsibility, including analysis of data and query options, and continuous development of reporting

Our requirements

• Completed degree in computer science, business informatics, or comparable qualification
• Knowledge of the following technologies:
  • DAX, Power Query
  • Data Factory, Blob Storage
  • SQL, DataVault, DevOps
• In-depth knowledge of data modeling (including data vault) and dimensional modeling
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps tools, and automated testing
• Analytical thinking, structure, and organization
• Very good knowledge of German
