Tasks

• Responsible for the design, development, and testing of software modules to ensure optimal functional integration within complex systems.
• This role requires a combination of in-depth technical expertise and a collaborative mindset, as you’ll work with cross-functional teams to innovate and deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Understand business needs by communicating with colleagues from various departments at Julius Baer.
• Participate in planning and feature refinement meetings with your team.
• Work with solution architects to design software solutions that align with Julius Baer's overall architectural vision.
• Actively participate in our software engineering communities and share your knowledge with others.
• Deliver high-quality code that complies with Julius Baer's guidelines and standards.

• You have a master's or bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, or you have equivalent relevant professional experience in software development.
• You have a very good command of English.
• We don't expect you to be an expert in both front-end and back-end development. We understand that everyone has their own preferred tools and technologies, so we don't expect you to be an expert in both React and Spring Boot/Java.
• However, we expect you to be open to working in both areas as needed, while continuing to focus on either front-end or back-end development.
