Full-Stack Software Engineer .NET Angular 100% (f/m/d)
Julius Baer is seeking a Full-Stack Software Engineer in Madrid with over 5 years of experience in .NET Core, C#, and Angular to develop and optimize complex software modules. The role involves designing RESTful APIs and database solutions, as well as actively contributing to CI/CD processes and technical design decisions.
Tasks
- Responsible for the design, development, and testing of software modules to ensure optimal functionality and integration within complex systems.
- Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to technical design decisions.
- Development and optimization of database solutions while ensuring performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Proactively identify areas where technical debt can be reduced and implement best practices.
- Development and maintenance of RESTful APIs and backend services.
- Supporting CI/CD processes and contributing to DevOps best practices.
- Troubleshooting and resolving production issues while ensuring application stability and performance evaluation.
- Conducting code reviews.
- Continuous improvement of software quality through testing, automation, and engineering best practices.
Requirements
- More than 5 years of professional experience in software development.
- Extensive hands-on experience with .NET Core / .NET technologies and C#.
- Solid experience with Angular and modern front-end development practices.
- Strong knowledge of SQL databases, including database design, query optimization, indexing, and performance tuning.
- A solid understanding of software architecture principles and application design.
- Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and data structures.
- Experience in designing and using REST APIs.
- Experience working with CI and modern CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Fluency in English.
Desirable
- Experience with NoSQL technologies such as Elasticsearch.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools.
- Knowledge of microservices architecture and distributed systems.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum/SAFe environments.
- Experience with message brokers and event-driven architectures.
- Experience with React.
