Accounting Associate

Tasks

The Fund Accounting department supports Man US Direct Lending with financial reporting, auditing, and tax compliance for its funds and other investment structures. Specific responsibilities include:
  • Management of the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting process for the funds
  • Initial review of the funds' quarterly and annual financial reports
  • Initial review of the net asset value and capital compliance reports submitted to the funds’ lenders
  • Assistance in preparing quarterly income and annual operating budget forecasts
  • Management of the process for investor capital calls and distributions
  • Monitoring of asset valuation and other asset valuation requirements
  • Management and support for the fund administrator and other external service providers
  • Communication and coordination with the portfolio management team and the investment team
  • Efficient and effective communication with stakeholders, the portfolio management team, and the investment team
  • Contributing to the development of policies and procedures

Requirements

The ideal candidates should meet the following requirements:
  • At least two years of experience in the financial services industry, ideally in public auditing or investment management
  • Understanding Loans and Tranches in the Private Credit Sector
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Extremely detail-oriented and capable of handling multiple projects at the same time
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to write clearly and concisely
  • Strong interpersonal skills
