Job Summary

The position of Fund Accountant Associate at Man US Direct Lending involves responsibility for financial reporting, auditing, and tax compliance for funds and other investment structures.

Tasks

The specific responsibilities include:

• Management of the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing process for funds
• Review of the funds' quarterly and annual financial reports
• Review of the monthly compliance reports submitted to the funds’ lenders
• Support and coordination of fund audits
• Assistance with preparing quarterly and annual operating budget forecasts
• Management of the preparation of cash withdrawals and distributions
• Management of fee and invoice calculations
• Support for fund management and other capital management needs
• Management and oversight of third-party vendors and other service providers
• Communication with Auditors
• Contributing to the development of policies and procedures
• Ad hoc projects

Requirements

The requirements for this position include:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• 1–3 years of experience in the financial services industry at an accounting firm or an asset management firm
• Experience working at an investment firm in the areas of lending and risk management
• Strong Excel skills
• Exceptionally detail-oriented with the ability to handle multiple tasks at once
• Effective communication skills and the ability to write clearly and concisely
• Strong interpersonal skills
