Fund Specialist, Investment Management

The Fund Specialist is responsible for actively promoting and distributing CA Indosuez Investment Management products to clients in Asia, while supporting the growth of fund sales and activities in Singapore. The role requires close coordination with investment specialists and the Fund Solutions team in Europe.

Job description

The Investment Management division in Singapore is responsible for providing comprehensive investment solutions, including public markets, alternatives, and private equity opportunities, to professional investors. The Fund Specialist reports to the Head of Investment Management, Asia, and is responsible for actively promoting and distributing CA Indosuez Investment Management products to clients in Asia.

Tasks

The tasks include:
  • Active Development of Fund Sales and Activities in Singapore
  • Marketing and distribution of investment funds and alternative funds within the Singapore fund universe to local clients, local investment advisors, and private bankers
  • Leading and/or assisting with regular meetings with local investment advisors and private bankers for general presentations and business development
  • Understanding customer needs and providing appropriate solutions using the full range of approved products
  • Partnership and Contribution: Collaboration on the Structuring and Product Development of Global Funds

Requirements

The requirements include:
  • At least a bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Academic Qualifications/Specialization: Degree from leading business schools or universities, preferably a master's degree
  • CFA/CAIA Level I and/or II certification required; CIMA or CTP certifications would be a plus
  • At least 1 year of professional experience

  • Highly effective communication and presentation skills (written and oral)
  • Ability to clearly articulate concepts, ideas, and processes
  • Strong organizational, initiative, and analytical skills, and attention to detail

  • Understanding and Compliance with Credit, Risk, and Banking Regulations
  • Ability to establish a constructive and effective working relationship with all stakeholders at the private bank
  • Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and MorningStar
  • Proficiency in English is required; proficiency in Mandarin would be an asset
