Job title: FX Middle Office (Mat Cover)
Job type: Temporary (PAYE)

Tasks

The FX Middle Office team is part of the larger Global Middle Office within the Finance department. The team works directly with the FX trading desks and is responsible for controlling and supporting the business. This includes:

• Reviewing and reconciling all trading activities to ensure that trades are accurately recorded and reported in a manner that complies with our regulatory obligations
• Preparation of daily flash P&L and P&L attribution
• Resolving booking problems and cash breaks
• Responsibility for all trade reconciliations and deal reviews
• Management of the trade lifecycle, including call events and triggers, structured note issuance, and complex cash flow management functions
• Collaborate with senior management to maintain and develop a range of relationships with all relevant trading operations and corporate functions
• Close collaboration with all support functions (documentation, settlements, valuations, collateral management, etc.) to provide comprehensive operational support for the front office
• Proactive work to improve processes and systems and close control gaps
