FX & Precious Metals Specialist

Tasks

The primary tasks include:

• Generating and growing revenue by developing innovative product ideas and designing customized hedging, investment, and liquidity strategies using FX instruments
• Ensuring the fast and accurate execution of FX orders while managing operational risks
• Providing high-quality service to the bank’s direct access clients (DACs) and delivering market insights as needed
• Collaborating with relationship managers and investment advisors to meet clients’ FX and precious metals needs, including seamless trade execution, providing market insights, and offering valuable services

Requirements

The requirements for this position are:

• 7–10 years of experience in FX sales, trading, or advisory services in private banking/wealth management, preferably with experience working with ultra-high-net-worth clients
• In-depth understanding of cash FX, OTC derivatives (vanilla and structured), precious metals, and structured FX bonds
• Proven success in generating FX revenue in a client advisory setting
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with fluency in English; business-level Mandarin would be a plus
• Strong business acumen, a keen sense of business, and a broad understanding of financial markets and products
