The FX & Precious Metals Specialist is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with clients, and providing tailored solutions to meet their financial needs.Tasks
The primary tasks include:- Generating and growing revenue by developing innovative product ideas and designing customized hedging, investment, and liquidity strategies using FX instruments
- Ensuring the fast and accurate execution of FX orders while managing operational risks
- Supporting and advising Direct Access Clients (DACs) and providing market insights as needed
- Collaborating with relationship managers and investment advisors to meet clients' foreign exchange and precious metals needs
Requirements
The requirements for this position include:- 7–10 years of experience in FX sales, trading, or advisory services in private banking/wealth management, preferably with experience working with ultra-high-net-worth clients
- In-depth understanding of spot FX, OTC derivatives (vanilla and structured), precious metals, and structured FX products
- Proven success in generating FX revenue in a client advisory setting
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with fluency in English; business-level Mandarin would be an asset
- Strong business acumen, a deep understanding of business operations, and a broad understanding of financial markets and products
