FX & Precious Metals Specialist

The primary responsibilities of this role include generating and growing revenue by developing innovative product ideas and designing tailored hedging, investment, and liquidity strategies using FX instruments. This role also requires ensuring the fast and accurate execution of FX orders while managing operational risks and ensuring a high quality of service for the bank’s direct access clients (DACs). In addition, collaboration with relationship managers and investment advisors is required to meet clients’ FX and precious metals needs, including ensuring seamless trade execution, providing market insights, and delivering valuable service offerings.

Tasks

• Generating and growing revenue by developing innovative product ideas and designing customized hedging, investment, and liquidity strategies using FX instruments
• Ensuring the fast and accurate execution of FX orders while managing operational risks
• Providing market insights and valuable services to customers
• Collaborating with relationship managers and investment advisors to meet clients' FX and precious metals needs

Requirements

• 7–10 years of experience in FX sales, trading, or advisory services in private banking/wealth management, preferably with experience working with ultra-high-net-worth clients
• In-depth understanding of spot FX, OTC derivatives (vanilla and structured), precious metals, and structured FX bonds
• Proven track record of generating FX revenue in a client advisory setting
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with fluency in English; business-level Mandarin would be an asset
• Strong business acumen, a deep understanding of business operations, and a broad understanding of financial markets and products
