The FX & Precious Metals Specialist is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with clients, and providing tailored solutions to meet their financial needs.Tasks
The primary tasks include:- Generating and growing revenue by developing innovative product ideas and designing customized hedging, investment, and liquidity strategies using FX instruments
- Fast and accurate execution of FX orders, while managing operational risks and ensuring a high quality of service for the bank’s Direct Access Clients (DACs)
- Collaborate with relationship managers and investment advisors to meet clients’ FX and precious metals needs, including ensuring seamless trade execution, providing market insights, and delivering value-added services
Requirements
The requirements for this position are:- 7–10 years of experience in FX sales, trading, or advisory services within private banking or wealth management, preferably with experience serving ultra-high-net-worth clients
- In-depth understanding of spot FX, OTC derivatives (vanilla and structured), precious metals, and structured FX bonds
- Proven success in generating FX revenue in a client advisory setting
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with fluency in English; business-level Mandarin would be an asset
- Strong business acumen, a keen sense of business, and a broad understanding of financial markets and products
