About the role

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Forex and Precious Metals Derivatives Trader to join our dynamic trading team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of forex and precious metals markets, strong quantitative skills and a proven track record of executing and managing derivative risks, including exotic options.

Tasks

• Manage a forex and precious metals derivatives portfolio, including exotic options, to maximize profitability from client flows and mitigate risk.
• Ensure that all market parameters are properly maintained.
• Provide responsive and competitive quotes to customers and offer a first-class service to sales and customers, including the creation of trade ideas.
• Monitor global economic events, central bank policies and geopolitical developments that impact the forex markets.
• Manage and optimize risk exposure within predefined risk parameters.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal trading guidelines.

Requirements

• Master's degree in finance, economics, mathematics or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in trading forex and precious metals derivatives with a financial institution.
• Strong understanding of derivatives, pricing models and risk management techniques.
• Programming skills in languages such as Python are an advantage.
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure trading environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
