Managing Director of a Pension Fund (80–100%)

Tasks

You will manage the pension fund with a small team and be responsible for the smooth handling of all tasks related to personal insurance, including administration and providing professional information to beneficiaries. You will perform coordination tasks for the Board of Trustees, be responsible for the regular meetings, and evaluate the annual reports and minutes. You will maintain the required accounting records in accordance with the guidelines of the Swiss Professional Association of Experts in Occupational Pension Provision (BVPP) and ensure compliance with annual deadlines as well as the preparation of tax and annual financial statements. You ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and serve as the point of contact for supervisory authorities, occupational pension experts, and our internal stakeholders. You initiate changes and update regulatory frameworks under the BVG and/or register these changes yourself upon initial notification and when amendments are reported.

Requirements

You have a solid background in business administration (university, university of applied sciences/MBA, or equivalent) and in-depth knowledge of occupational pension plans (BVG/OR, foundation and corporate law, collective bargaining agreements, the Swiss Pension Fund “Stiftung 2,” etc.). You have relevant experience in the field of employee benefits, ideally in the management of pension funds. You are an independent, communicative individual with a strong sense of responsibility and a proven track record in providing service and finding solutions.
