Back Office Credit Manager

The Valais Cantonal Bank is seeking a Back-Office Credit Manager to assist with loan administration and ensure coordination with various departments. The ideal candidate will have a business background and experience in the back-office management of bank loans.

Tasks

As a Back-Office Credit Manager, you will develop your skills in analysis and control and ensure seamless coordination with the various departments. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Processing, review, and management of loan applications for personal and business customers
  • Contribute to the proper management of customer files (in terms of timeliness, quality, and regulatory compliance) through accurate data processing and the implementation of appropriate measures in response to potential or confirmed risks
  • Collaboration on tasks related to internal control systems and compliance with credit policy
  • Supporting customer service representatives and fostering constructive dialogue to achieve win-win outcomes

Requirements

This position is suitable for you if:
  • You have a business degree (CFC, Maturität, or equivalent) and several years of experience in a similar field within the banking sector
  • You have good time management and prioritization skills
  • You speak French fluently and have a good command of German (both written and spoken), and your bilingualism is a major advantage
  • You have strong computer skills and analytical abilities
  • You have good social skills and a positive attitude
  • You work reliably and independently
