Application Services Manager
The role of Application Services Manager at BCV involves monitoring and improving systems, automating processes, and solving problems for internal customers. The ideal candidate will have experience in IT, particularly in system development, operation, or architecture, as well as knowledge of Unix/Linux, Java, and other relevant technologies.

- Participate in monitoring and observing systems (infrastructure, middleware, and software), propose proactive improvements based on these observations and analyses,
- Manage the deployment of application packages in various environments in accordance with rigorous processes.
- Participate in the automation of these operations in order to reduce the risk of errors,
- Find pragmatic solutions to internal customer problems
- Participate in the 24/7 on-call service.
Requirements
- Higher education in computer science
- Minimum 5 years' experience as a software developer, operations engineer, or systems architect.
- Strong interest in continuous improvement of systems and automation of IT processes,
- Good understanding of the architecture of distributed information systems,
- Swiss resident or willingness to take up residence in Switzerland in order to participate in on-call duty,
- Good command of Unix/Linux tools
- Reading Java-oriented application logs
- Monitoring Type Dynatrace
- Some knowledge of DB (oral/PostgresQL)
- Some Network Knowledge / Web Application Firewall
