Supplies, Mail, and Document Management Administrator

The Valais Cantonal Bank is seeking a Supply Manager, Mail and Document Management Specialist for a part-time position (60%) in Sion, where the candidate will be responsible for document management, archiving, and supporting internal operations. The ideal candidate is an organized and dynamic individual with experience in document management and a solid educational background in business or administration.

Tasks

Specifically?
  • You will be responsible for all incoming mail (letters, packages, faxes) and ensure that it is properly scanned before being distributed internally.
  • You are responsible for managing the archiving software, including workflow management, equipment maintenance, internal training, and quality assurance for the archive.
  • You will assist with reprographics and mailing activities to ensure the smooth distribution of our external communications.
  • As part of your duties in the facilities management department, you will play an active role in managing equipment and supplies (purchasing, storage, distribution, and recycling).
  • Finally, you will monitor and track the service's activities (statistics, inventories, data updates, etc.).

Requirements

This position is for you if...
  • You are known for your accuracy and attention to detail—quality and precision are important to you.
  • You have completed a business-related education (CFC or Maturität) and have experience in mail handling, filing, and administrative support (knowledge of the banking sector would be an asset).
  • You are a native French speaker, and your language skills enable you to accurately process documentation in German.
  • You have a driver's license (which would be helpful) and are comfortable using computer tools.
  • You are a dynamic and independent person who thrives on helping the organization run smoothly.
