Supplies, Mail, and Document Management Administrator

The Valais Cantonal Bank is seeking a Supply Manager, Mail and Document Management Specialist for a 60% position in Sion, to begin by December 15, 2026. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing mail, documents, and supplies, as well as supporting internal operations.

Tasks

- You will be responsible for all incoming mail (letters, packages, faxes) and ensure that it is properly scanned before internal distribution. - You will serve as one of the main points of contact for the archiving software, handling both workflow management and equipment maintenance, as well as internal training and quality assurance for the archive. - You will support reprographics and mailing activities to ensure the seamless distribution of our external communications. - For activities related to the administrative services department, you will actively contribute to the management of materials and supplies (purchasing, storage, distribution, and recycling). - Finally, you will monitor and track the department’s activities (statistics, inventories, data updates, etc.).

Requirements

  • You are known for your accuracy and attention to detail—quality and precision are important to you.
  • You have completed a business-related education program (CFC or Maturität) and have experience in mail handling, archiving, and general office administration (knowledge of the banking sector would be an asset).
  • You are a French speaker and are able to accurately edit documentation in German.
  • A driver's license would be helpful for this position, and you should be comfortable using computer tools.
  • You are a dynamic and independent person who thrives on actively supporting the smooth operation of the organization.
