Risk and Compliance Manager, Private Banking
BCV is looking for a Junior Risk and Compliance Manager for Private Banking to carry out checks, support the internal control system, and act as an interface with the front office. The ideal candidate will have banking-related training and experience in risk management or front office operations.
Job description
Tasks
- Perform periodic checks related to various areas of private banking activity.
- Ensure that the checks carried out by the front desk run smoothly.
- Participate in the review and strengthening of the Division's Internal Control System (ICS)
- Provide first-level front-line support for general questions
- Support the Head of Risk & Compliance Private Banking in the operational handling of cases to which the front office is exposed and, where necessary, coordinate their handling with the Bank's various support departments (i.e., Compliance, Tax, Legal).
Requirements
- Banking training and/or higher education (completed or in progress)
- First experience in a risk management role at a bank or in a front office role involving control activities
- Understanding the challenges of private banking
- Comfortable with Excel (Power Query has it all)
- Autonomy, rigor, organizational skills, and good management of priorities and deadlines
- Critical thinking and initiative, adaptability, solution-oriented approach
- Perfect command of French (particularly written), good knowledge of English
