Risk and Compliance Manager, Private Banking
The position of Risk and Compliance Manager, Private Banking involves monitoring and controlling risks and compliance in the private banking sector, as well as supporting the front office and coordinating with various support services. The successful candidate will also be involved in reviewing and strengthening the internal control system.
Job description
Tasks
- regulator of periodic controls related to various areas of private banking activity,
- ensure that the checks carried out by the front desk run smoothly,
- participate in the review and strengthening of the Division's Internal Control System (ICS),
- provide first-level support to the front office for general questions,
- Support the Head of Risk & Compliance Private Banking in the operational handling of cases to which the front office is exposed and, where necessary, coordinate their handling with the Bank's various support departments (i.e., Compliance, Tax, Legal).
Requirements
- banking training and/or higher education (completed or ongoing),
- First experience in a risk management role at a bank or in a front office role with control activities.
- understanding of the challenges in the field of private banking,
- Proficiency in Excel (Power Query included),
- Autonomy, rigor, organizational skills, and good management of priorities and deadlines.
- critical thinking and initiative, adaptability, solution-oriented approach,
- Perfect command of French (particularly written), good knowledge of English.
