Global Corporate Banking - Mid-Cap Executive Director

JPMorganChase is seeking an experienced Executive Director for its Global Corporate Banking team in Zurich, who will be responsible for managing client relationships with companies with revenues in excess of $500 million. The Executive Director will identify sales opportunities, manage complex client relationships, and collaborate with internal business partners to provide comprehensive financial services to clients.

Job Summary

As an Executive Director in the Switzerland Mid-Cap team, you will support relationships with public and private companies with revenues of $500 million and above. This group offers traditional corporate banking products as well as investment banking products. Our business partners include product specialists from the areas of debt capital markets, equity capital markets, M&A, treasury services, corporate derivatives, and private banking.

Job Responsibilities

The tasks include:
  • Identifying, pursuing, and closing sales opportunities for a wide range of financial products and services
  • Managing complex, multi-product customer relationships as primary relationship manager
  • Coordination of sales and service efforts of multiple internal business partners
  • Proactive support for customers and prospects; representing Global Corporate Banking Mid-Cap in the local banking and business community and building a network of referral sources
  • Collaborate with the credit underwriting team in analyzing, structuring, negotiating, and documenting credit applications
  • Initiating and maintaining strategic dialogues with customers and prospects to generate ongoing corporate finance, treasury service, and credit opportunities
  • Strict compliance with all regulatory and JPMC rules, policies, and procedures

Requirements

The requirements include:
  • Previous experience in corporate banking and/or investment banking, ideally in a coverage role, in the Swiss market
  • Candidate must be a top individual contributor with a strong track record of performance.
  • Excellent ability to manage and influence stakeholder relationships at all levels, particularly at the executive management level
  • Relevant experience in executing commercial banking/investment banking/capital market products in a management position
  • Hardworking and self-motivated, able to work independently and as part of a larger team
  • Ability to adapt under high pressure and in challenging situations
  • Excellent presentation skills and strong customer skills
  • Proven ability to execute strategic and proactive leadership
  • Proven creative, analytical, and problem-solving skills to identify business trends and pursue a business approach
  • Ability to execute and manage a high number of competing priorities within tight deadlines
  • Enthusiasm for taking on new and challenging tasks in a dynamic environment
  • Fluent English, German, and/or French
