Global Financial Accounting – SAP Expert / Lead Consultant - Financial Accounting (FI-GL) 100%
The Julius Baer Group is seeking an experienced SAP expert to serve as Lead Consultant for Financial Accounting (FI-GL), who will lead the design, customization, and optimization processes for the General Ledger and Financial Accounting. The ideal candidate has at least 6 years of experience in SAP configuration, particularly in the FI-GL module, and experience in SAP S/4HANA environments.
Tasks
- Design and configuration of new legal entities, including all relevant departments
- Configuration of parallel accounting setups (e.g., using ledgers or accounts) to support multiple reporting standards, such as IFRS and local GAAP
- Implementation of automated validations and substitutions to maintain data integrity and optimize month-end closing processes
- Handling Authorization-Related Developments and Changes
Integration & Data Governance
- Management of integration mappings between FI and logistics modules (MM, SD, PP) to ensure accurate automatic account assignment
Project Delivery & Testing
- Leading blueprinting and implementation workshops to map "AS IS" and "TO BE" processes
- Developing functional specifications for custom applications (RICEF/W) and collaborating with ABAP developers
- Development of test scenarios, conducting user acceptance testing (UAT), and managing cutover tasks
Your profile
- Education: Degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or information technology
- Experience: At least 6 years of hands-on experience in SAP configuration, particularly in the FI-GL module. Experience in a banking environment is a plus.
- Platform: Proven experience in deploying and customizing SAP S/4HANA environments
