Global executive for business development and trade
Tasks
- Drive global business development initiatives to expand trading activities, customer relationships and product offerings.
- Develop customized financial solutions in collaboration with structuring, sales and trading teams.
- Monitor global market conditions and identify growth opportunities in retail and product innovation.
- Execute and monitor complex hedging and risk management strategies to mitigate financial risks.
- Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with institutional clients, counterparties and global financial institutions.
- Ensuring compliance with international regulatory frameworks (FINMA, MiFID II, EU directives, etc.).
- Make strategic contributions to the company's global expansion, product innovation and risk framework.
- Monitor trading performance, business KPIs and market penetration metrics.
- Manage and support commercial and business development teams in multiple geographic regions.
- Take responsibility for the department's profit and loss account and ensure the achievement of financial and strategic targets.
Requirements
- 15+ years of experience in exotic derivatives trading, portfolio management and global business development across multiple asset classes.
- 10+ years of experience trading US and/or international equities, exchange traded or OTC derivatives.
- 5+ years of industry experience, preferably in Asia and/or North America.
- Successful balance sheet with responsibility for profit and loss, strategic trading and risk management.
- Strong knowledge of pricing methods, financial products and hedging techniques.
- Leadership experience in managing global teams with a high performance culture.
- Deep understanding of international regulatory and compliance frameworks.
- Strong ability to recognize market trends, develop growth strategies and build customer solutions.
- Excellent negotiation, communication and relationship management skills with institutional clients.
- A university degree in finance, economics or a related quantitative discipline is preferred.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
