Global Head Payments

Your role

As Head Global Payments, in this key role you will be responsible for managing the payments department and, together with your team, ensure that all national and international payments are processed securely and efficiently. You will keep an eye on regulatory requirements, optimize processes and actively contribute your expertise to strategic projects. In doing so, you will make an essential contribution to the reputation and success of our banking group.

Your tasks

• Oversee day-to-day operations; ensure efficient, accurate and timely processing of all payments and be responsible for the bank's correspondence network
• Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal guidelines as well as close cooperation with Legal and Compliance
• Identification and implementation of process improvements to increase efficiency
• Analyzing and minimizing risks in payment transactions, including fraud prevention and detection
• Solving complex problems and answering queries from Switzerland and international locations
• Ensuring a high level of service for internal and external customers
• Leading projects in the area of payment transactions

Profile

• 10 years of experience in Swiss and international payment transactions
• Hands-on mentality, strong interpersonal skills, excellent communication and problem-solving skills, analytical approach and ability to work under pressure
• Leadership experience and the ability to motivate and develop a team
• Experience in working with various stakeholder groups (legal, CRM)
• Experience in managing and working on projects
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, Swift, SIC, SEPA, Target2; knowledge of the core banking system Avaloq is an advantage
• You communicate fluently in German and English
