Global Markets Compliance (Vice President)

Tasks

• Providing compliance coverage and daily regulatory support, as well as addressing compliance, transaction, and other compliance risks.
• A comprehensive portfolio that includes, among other things, FX and Forex products.
• Support the rest of the Global Markets Compliance team in covering the following regulated products:
  • Fixed Income Trading (Credit, Equity Inc., Prime, Structured Products)
• Key stakeholder regarding applicable regulations.
• Staying up to date on regulatory changes that affect the business.
• Analysis and evaluation of new regulations, as well as training for executives on their implementation.
• Participation in internal and external investigations involving various regulatory and internal parties.
• Providing regular and ad hoc training for the business.
• Provision of management information.
• Understanding and keeping current with knowledge of the company's business operations to ensure that appropriate compliance systems and controls are in place.
• Conducting regular and ad hoc monitoring and evaluations of products.

Requirements

• Knowledge of the rules and regulations relevant to Global Markets operations (UK, EU, trading venues, cross-border, etc.).
• Experience in a trading environment (trading floor) and in business-oriented compliance.
• Knowledge of the Dodd-Frank Swap Act would be an asset, but is not required.
• Ability to work well under pressure and switch between tasks.
• Effective problem-solving approaches.
• A genuine interest in the financial services industry.
• Willingness to work in a trading floor environment with colleagues from various disciplines.
• A methodical approach with excellent attention to detail.
• Effectively communicating ideas and motivating colleagues.
• Professional development and improving team productivity.
• Promoting ethical conduct, workplace safety, and fostering a “risk culture.”

Work Permit
