Global Markets - FX Quantitative Analyst
UBS is seeking an FX Quantitative Analyst to develop and enhance models, algorithms, and tools for risk management and the valuation of trading portfolios. The ideal candidate has an academic background in a quantitative field, experience in C++ programming, and a solid understanding of financial markets and quantitative finance.

We're looking for someone who excels at their work and can take on the following responsibilities:- Development and enhancement of models, algorithms, and tools for risk management and the valuation of the trading portfolio across a broad range of FX/PM option products (including multi-currency)
- Rapid analysis of business problems with the goal of identifying and implementing innovative, high-quality technical solutions
Your team
The FX Quantitative Analytics (QA) team is part of the company's trading operations in foreign exchange (FX) and precious metals (PM) derivatives. The team works closely with various internal stakeholders, including trading, IT, and control functions, as well as central technology teams.Your expertise
- Academic background in a quantitative field
- Professional-level knowledge of C++ programming (knowledge of Python is a plus)
- Previous experience in a front-office environment
- Solid understanding of financial markets
- Strong knowledge of quantitative finance
- Ability to communicate complex ideas
