Job description

The Global Network Management department is responsible for managing and developing strategies for relationships with custodian and cash correspondent banks. As a Global Network Manager, you are responsible for managing this network of agent banks.

Tasks

Your responsibilities include:

• Active service management of agent bank relationships, including regular service meetings, service reviews, due diligence reviews, and active monitoring and management of service delivery for Bank Julius Baer
• Negotiating and managing fees, including understanding costs, developing and generating ideas, and implementing them to achieve cost savings
• Monitoring contracts, negotiating and implementing the documentation required for these relationships
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and implement continuous process optimization across the network
• Understanding market and industry developments, trends, and opportunities for Bank Julius Baer and communicating them to stakeholders
• Support for internal consulting to address business and customer needs
• Ensuring the smooth delivery of services, including developing expertise in custody and payments to provide guidance to customer-facing units

Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with:

• Relevant experience in a network management, financial institution, relationship management, or customer-facing role in a banking environment
• Proven experience in managing suppliers and/or internal stakeholders, ideally in the context of custodian and cash correspondent relationships
• At least a basic understanding of custody operations, market rules, cash operations, and correspondent services
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external partners
