Tasks
- Work closely with the CB Coverage team and the global GPS sales team in over 40 countries.
- Their main task is to support customers in managing payments across borders and currencies.
- Adopt a needs-based advisory approach to understand customer requirements and provide appropriate cash management solutions.
- Work effectively with the HSBC team across product lines and functions to develop solutions and validate sales projects.
- Build on the work of the GPS product team to adapt the competitive landscape and developments.
- Proactively work with global and regional sales teams to develop cross-sell opportunities and highlight payments and value.
- Implementing the GPS investment agenda - Financial targets.
- Work closely with the GPS implementation, integration and customer service teams to ensure smooth customer implementations and proactively identify and resolve issues.
- Keep relationship teams abreast of market trends, competitive landscape, regulatory changes, etc. to respond to market changes and opportunities.
- Maintain comprehensive sales records to enable tracking of sales performance and quality.
Requirements
- Experience in a corporate banking environment.
- Extensive knowledge of treasury, liquidity and cash management products - a certificate in International Cash Management would be an advantage.
- Ability to work under pressure with key performance indicators.
- Ability to work in cross-regional and cross-functional teams.
- Expertise in leading, influencing and coaching sales teams.
- Highly results-driven, proactive and development-oriented with the ability to formulate and articulate sales strategies.
- Good communication, presentation, interpersonal and influencing skills.
- Ability to deal with pressure in a fast-paced and fast-growing environment.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple high priority and high profile projects.
