GPS Associate Investment Advisor

The Julius Baer Group is seeking a GPS Associate Investment Advisor in Zurich, Switzerland, as an entry-level opportunity for high-potential trainees who wish to build a long-term career in private banking. The successful candidate will work directly within the Investment Advisor team and will be responsible for tasks such as preparing investment proposals and assisting with client and prospect presentations.

Your tasks

You will contribute directly to the Investment Advisor team and take on responsibilities such as the following:
  • Preparing investment proposals for clients and adjusting portfolios and investment recommendations
  • Support with client and prospect presentations (e.g., presentations, market insights, investment ideas)
  • Development and evaluation of investment strategies tailored to clients’ goals, needs, and risk profiles
  • Collaboration with specialists from various asset classes and product areas
  • Support and collaboration with experienced investment advisors (e.g., trade entry, account balance, etc.)

Your profile

We are looking for a candidate with:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in banking, finance, business administration, economics, or a related field
  • 2-3 years of professional experience (including internships)
  • Entrepreneurial spirit – proactive, self-motivated, and comfortable taking the initiative
  • Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills, able to process complex information quickly
  • Understanding of and hands-on experience with emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence, robotics, automation, and data analysis
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
