GPS Associate Investment Advisor
The Julius Baer Group is seeking a GPS Associate Investment Advisor in Zurich to work directly on the Investment Advisor team and handle tasks such as preparing investment recommendations and assisting with client presentations. As a GPS Associate Investment Advisor at Julius Baer, you will contribute directly to the Investment Advisor team, supporting client coverage and portfolio structuring tasks. You will work alongside experienced experts to prepare investment proposals for clients and develop customized portfolio and investment recommendations.Tasks
You will be responsible for the following tasks:- Prepare investment proposals for clients and create customized portfolio and investment recommendations
- Support client and prospect presentations (e.g., presentations, market insights, investment ideas)
- Develop and evaluate investment strategies that align with clients' goals, needs, and risk profiles
- Work with specialists from various asset classes and product areas
- Assist senior investment advisors (e.g., trade entries, account balances, etc.)
Requirements
The following requirements apply to this position:- Bachelor's or Master's degree in banking, finance, business administration, economics, or a related field
- 2-3 years of professional experience (including internships)
- Entrepreneurial spirit – proactive, self-motivated, and comfortable taking the initiative
- Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills, able to process complex information quickly
- Understanding of and hands-on experience with emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence, robotics, automation, and data analysis
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
