GPS Associate: Junior Wealth Planner Succession Switzerland, Zurich, 100% (f/m/d)
The Julius Baer Group is seeking a GPS Associate: Junior Wealth Planner Succession in Zurich, who, as part of the 18-month GPS Associate Program, will develop ambitious early-career professionals for a career in private banking. The Junior Wealth Planner will assist in the preparation of legal advice and documentation for clients under Swiss law.
Your challenge
- Advising and supporting bank clients in civil law matters under Swiss law (in particular matrimonial property law, inheritance law, and adult protection law)
- Supporting senior wealth planners with legal assessments and preparing client documentation
- Collaborate with other specialists within the bank to deliver comprehensive client solutions (e.g., collaboration with international colleagues from the wealth planning team)
- Coordination and collaboration with a wide range of external experts (lawyers, notaries, and other specialists)
- Evaluation and implementation of suitable legal and asset planning solutions for clients residing in Switzerland or in cross-border situations involving Switzerland
- Collaboration on internal wealth planning projects
- Preparation of training materials and presentations
Your profile
- Academic degree in law (bachelor's or master's)
- 1 to 3 years of professional experience in the private client services industry, ideally in a renowned law firm, a Swiss notary's office, or a consulting firm
- Solid knowledge of Swiss civil law
- Excellent communication skills and a service-oriented, customer-focused personality
- Entrepreneurial thinking and a strong sense of responsibility
- Professional and thoughtful demeanor
- Solid technical judgment and strong analytical skills
- Team-oriented personality with an open mind
- Native German and business English
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to work and travel in Switzerland
