GPS Associate: Junior Wealth Planner Succession Switzerland, Zurich, 100% (f/m/d)
Julius Baer Bank is seeking a Junior Wealth Planner for succession planning in Switzerland to advise and support clients in civil law matters. The ideal candidate will have a law degree, 1-3 years of professional experience, and a solid knowledge of Swiss civil law.
Your challenge
- Advising and supporting bank clients in civil law matters under Swiss law (in particular matrimonial property law, inheritance law, and adult protection law)
- Supporting senior wealth planners with legal assessments and preparing client documentation
- Collaborate with other specialists within the bank to deliver comprehensive client solutions (e.g., collaboration with international colleagues from the wealth planning team)
- Coordination and cooperation with a range of external experts (lawyers, notaries, and other specialists)
- Evaluation and implementation of suitable legal and wealth planning solutions for clients who reside in Switzerland or are involved in cross-border situations with Switzerland
- Collaboration on internal wealth planning projects
- Preparation of training documents and presentations
Your profile
- Bachelor's or master's degree in law
- 1 to 3 years of professional experience in the private client services industry, ideally at a consulting firm, a renowned law firm, or a Swiss notary's office
- Solid knowledge of Swiss civil law
- Excellent communication skills and a service-oriented, customer-focused personality
- Entrepreneurial thinking and a strong sense of responsibility
- Professional and thoughtful demeanor
- Solid technical judgment and strong analytical skills
- Team-oriented personality with an open mind
- Native German and business English
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to work and travel in Switzerland
