GPS Associate Program: Private Markets Analyst
The Julius Baer Group is seeking a Private Markets Analyst for the GPS Associate Program in Zurich to support Alternative Funds Analysts in conducting investment due diligence and monitoring existing investments as part of an 18-month development program. The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field and has 2–3 years of professional experience.

The GPS Associate Program is a structured 18-month development program designed for ambitious young professionals who wish to build a career in private banking.Your tasks
The tasks include:- Assisting Alternative Funds Analysts in conducting investment due diligence reviews of private markets
- Supporting alternative fund analysts in monitoring existing investments
- Collection and processing of performance, exposure, and attribution data
- Creating and maintaining databases and models in Excel and other tools
- Attending meetings and conference calls with managers/GPs and preparing minutes and quarterly reports
- Support for the quarterly reporting cycle, including investment-related content
- Supporting the promotion and positioning of alternative funds in client portfolios, including the creation and maintenance of marketing materials and presentations
- Active support for fund inquiries, education, and fund initiatives
- Support for alternative fund-related projects across the entire banking sector
- Long-term development of due diligence capabilities and establishment of in-house coverage
Your profile
The requirements include:- Bachelor's or Master's degree in banking, finance, business administration, or a related field
- 2-3 years of professional experience (including internships)
- Proficiency in working with Excel, Power BI, Tableau, and Word
- Permission to work in the country of application for the duration of the program
