GPS Associate: Wealth Planning Europe

The position of GPS Associate at Julius Baer in Zurich offers a two-year training program for ambitious entry-level professionals in the Wealth Planning Europe division. The GPS Associate position in the Wealth Planning Europe division in Zurich offers the opportunity to work directly with experienced relationship managers as part of the Wealth Planning (WP) Europe team and to support the wealth planning business.

Your tasks

  • Preparation of client meeting decks that are well developed, fact-based, appealing, and tailored to the needs of clients
  • Research client cases and relevant topics in the area of wealth planning to provide valuable insights for the team
  • Ensuring that complex client cases are properly managed and that profiles are kept up to date
  • Collecting and compiling data from various sources, creating reports, ensuring completeness within deadlines
  • Participation in client/prospect meetings, as necessary, to support wealth planners in serving JB Group private clients, including involvement in the overall case management process
  • Acting as a point of contact for internal/external stakeholders, managing calendars, organizing travel, facilitating meetings and events, and screening phone calls, email inquiries, and mail

Your profile

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in banking, business administration, economics, finance, law, or a related field
  • 2-3 years of professional experience (including internships) in relevant fields (e.g., consulting, trust company, law firm, private bank, and/or tax advisor) are an advantage.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint, as well as related MS Office tools
  • Ability to work independently, with positive interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
  • Self-starter with a solution-oriented mindset
  • Fluent English – any other European language is an advantage
  • For this role in Zurich (CH), authorization to work in the country of application for the entire duration of the program is required.
