GPS Associate: Wealth Planning Europe

Julius Baer Bank is seeking a GPS Associate for its Wealth Planning Europe team in Zurich to support ambitious early-career professionals in pursuing a successful career in private banking. The successful candidate will join the two-year GPS Associate program and work directly with experienced wealth planners to serve and advise private clients.

Your tasks

As a GPS Associate, you will be responsible for the following tasks:
  • Preparation of presentation materials for client meetings that are well developed, fact-based, appealing, and tailored to the needs of the clients
  • Researching client cases and relevant topics in the area of wealth planning to provide valuable insights for the team
  • Ensuring that complex customer cases are managed properly and profiles are kept up to date
  • Collecting and compiling data from various sources, creating reports, and ensuring completeness within deadlines
  • Participation in client or prospect meetings, as necessary, to support Wealth Planners in serving JB Group private clients, including involvement in the overall case management process
  • Acting as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, managing calendars, organizing travel, conducting meetings and events, and screening phone calls, email inquiries, and mail

Your profile

For this position, we are seeking a candidate with:
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in banking, business administration, economics, finance, law, or a related discipline
  • 2-3 years of professional experience (including internships) in relevant fields (e.g., consulting, trust company, law firm, private bank, and/or tax advisor) are an advantage.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint as well as related MS Office tools
  • Ability to work independently, with positive interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
  • Independent working style with a solution-oriented mindset
  • Fluent English – any other European language is an advantage
  • For this role in Zurich (CH), authorization to work in the country of application for the entire duration of the program is required.
