Job description
Primary responsibilities include designing and implementing the global strategic agenda for GPS. This involves steering strategic growth initiatives that align with the bank’s strategy, ensuring strong alignment across regions, and addressing customer needs.Tasks
- Customer Management (Internal and External)
- Leading global strategic growth initiatives that align with the Group's strategic priorities
- Collaborating with GPS business owners to identify and evaluate new business opportunities and partnerships
- Supporting teams in project and change management activities
- Collaborate with Group Strategy and Group Finance to support the implementation of strategic initiatives
Business requirements
- Define and manage the team's objectives in consultation with the Head of GPS Strategy and Business Development (Switzerland and Europe)
- Creating presentations that present complex data sets and qualitative insights in a clear, concise, and visually appealing format
- Support in the development and delivery of high-quality strategy papers, market analyses, and actionable recommendations for senior managers at GPS
- Support for strategic partnerships and joint ventures (e.g., M&A, establishment of joint ventures) from GPS's perspective
Regulatory responsibilities and risk management
- Compliance with all legal, regulatory, and compliance standards and requirements
- Compliance with the standards and expectations set forth in the relevant user manuals and guidelines
- Demonstrating appropriate values and behaviors, including, but not limited to, standards of honesty and integrity, diligence and conscientiousness, fair treatment (equitable treatment of customers), and conflict management
