GPS Strategy & Business Development Project Leader
Julius Baer is seeking a GPS Strategy & Business Development Project Leader to shape and drive the global strategic agenda for GPS. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing growth initiatives, partnering with internal and external stakeholders, and leading a team.
Tasks
The primary responsibilities include developing and implementing the global strategic agenda for GPS. These include:- Managing global strategic growth initiatives that align with the bank's overall strategy
- Working closely with GPS business owners to identify new business opportunities and partnerships and develop growth plans
- Support for all GPS teams in project and change management activities
- Collaborating with Group Strategy and Group Finance to support the implementation of strategic initiatives
Client Management and Business Management
The tasks include:- Managing global strategic growth initiatives that align with the Group’s overall strategic priorities
- Partnering with GPS business owners to identify new business opportunities and partnerships and develop growth plans
- Supporting the development and delivery of high-quality strategy documents, market analyses, and actionable recommendations for senior stakeholders within GPS
- Support for strategic partnerships and joint ventures, as well as inorganic growth opportunities (e.g., M&As, alternative investments, global sales processes)
Regulatory responsibilities and risk management
The tasks include:- Compliance with all legal, regulatory, and compliance standards and requirements
- Compliance with the standards and expectations set forth in the relevant user manuals and guidelines
- Demonstrating appropriate values and behaviors, including but not limited to standards of honesty and integrity, diligence and conscientiousness, fair treatment (equitable treatment of customers), and conflict management
Leadership, management, and supervisory responsibilities
The requirements include:- Motivating and leading the team to improve overall performance
- Excellent stakeholder management and leadership skills (motivation, leading people)
- Strategic skills and managerial courage to make and deliver difficult decisions and messages
- The ability to manage internal and external stakeholders from diverse backgrounds in a highly articulate and professional manner
