GPS Strategy & Business Development Project Leader

Tasks

The primary responsibilities include developing and implementing the global strategic agenda for GPS. These include:

• The implementation of global strategic growth initiatives that align with the bank’s overall strategy
• Working closely with GPS business owners/stewards to identify new business opportunities and partnerships and develop growth plans
• Support for projects and change management initiatives
• Collaborating with Group Strategy and Group Finance to support the implementation of strategic initiatives

Business Responsibilities

Responsibilities include:

• Defining and implementing the team’s objectives in consultation with the Head of GPS Strategy & Business Development (Switzerland & Europe)
• The synthesis of complex data and qualitative insights into clear and compelling presentations
• Support in the development and delivery of strategy papers, market analyses, and recommendations for senior stakeholders
• Support in developing strategic partnerships
• The implementation of business projects and initiatives
• Monitoring new technologies, innovations, and market trends

Regulatory responsibilities and risk management

Responsibilities include:

• Compliance with all legal, regulatory, and compliance standards
• Compliance with the standards and expectations set forth in the relevant user manuals and guidelines
• The demonstration of values and behaviors, including honesty, integrity, diligence, and fairness

Leadership and Management

Responsibilities include:

• Motivating and leading the team to improve overall performance
• The ability to effectively manage and lead stakeholders
• The ability to make and communicate difficult decisions
• The ability to manage internal and external stakeholders

Requirements

• Strong commercial judgment and business acumen
