Graduate Engineer - Operational Risk Management Technology

Overview

We are looking for a motivated Graduate Engineer to join our Operational Risk Management team to support, enhance and maintain key software tools. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals with a technical background and an interest in risk management.

Main tasks

• Platform support & improvement:
  • Assistance with the configuration and customization of IBM OpenPages, IBM Cognos and Prevident to support (IBM) technology
  • Support for IBM OpenPages technology and reporting tools
• Risk management integration:
  • Collaborate with the Business Model Risk Management (BMRM) team to support regulatory risk tracking and third party risk management preventers
• Stakeholder cooperation:
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions, databases and system enhancements
• Documentation & reporting:
  • Adhere to discipline and best practices to produce reports that deliver actionable insights
• Quality assurance & monitoring:
  • Development and implementation of performance monitoring to ensure system reliability
• Continuous learning:
  • Build expertise in relevant tools and update on emerging technologies and risk management practices

Requirements

Required:

• Bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science or a related field
• Basic knowledge of technical concepts and interest in risk management
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills

Preferred:

• Familiarity with IBM OpenPages, IBM Cognos or similar systems
• Experience with data quality or risk management tools or Prevident
• Experience in software configuration, reporting or data analysis through internships or academic projects
