GRADUATE IN CREDIT & LIQUIDITY RISK
LeonteQ is seeking a recent graduate for its Credit & Liquidity Risk team in Lisbon to prepare daily risk reports, automate processes, and contribute to the further development of risk frameworks. The master’s graduate, who possesses quantitative skills, will complete a two-month training program featuring intensive instruction on derivatives and structured products before being offered a permanent contract.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Produce and monitor daily liquidity and credit risk reports, ensuring that they are accurate, timely, and clearly communicated
- Improve and automate reporting processes, tools, and infrastructure—challenging and enhancing current risk solutions
- Support the ongoing development of the liquidity and credit risk frameworks
- Develop an understanding of structured product pricing and hedging models, contributing to risk mitigation, analysis, and trade review
- Develop a deep understanding of regulatory issues
- Contribute to a variety of team projects
TRAINING STRUCTURE
- Derivatives: multi-asset, Greeks, hedging techniques
- Structured Products: Usage, Representation, Risks
- System: Sophia, Bloomberg, Refinitiv
- Analytical techniques
- Risk control frameworks—market, credit, liquidity, and operational risk
- Risk methodology techniques – stress tests
- Process and Control Design and Analysis
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
- Master's degree in finance, financial engineering, or a quantitative discipline
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills
- Knowledge of financial derivatives pricing
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel
- Programming experience is preferred (Python, VBA)
- Familiarity with databases (SQL) is a plus; training will be provided if needed.
