We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented junior structured product sales professional to join our dynamic team in Hong Kong on a 12-month permanent graduate role. The successful candidate will support the Structured Products Sales team across various asset classes including equities, rates, credit and FX. This is an exciting opportunity for graduates looking to develop a long-term career in investment banking and capital markets with a focus on complex financial products.Tasks
- Support the business needs of the Sales team, including pricing of client requests, trade execution and booking for various derivative products in coordination with Structuring & Trading.
- Management of the customer onboarding process and customer setup.
- Post-sales support including customer reporting, trade lifecycle management and resolution of post-trade issues.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal stakeholders (trading, structuring, legal, compliance, operations).
- Maintain accurate customer interaction logs and contribute to CRM reporting and sales analytics.
- Support the sales team in the preparation and customization of product presentations, pitch books, term sheets and marketing materials.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business administration, engineering, mathematics or a related field.
- Previous experience in financial services, preferably in structured products, sales support or a front office role.
- Understanding of derivatives: Solid basic knowledge of structured products (e.g. equity-linked notes, credit-linked notes, dual-currency deposits, autocallables, etc.).
- Bloomberg / Excel / PowerPoint proficiency: Ability to use Bloomberg for data retrieval and Excel for financial modeling; PowerPoint for effective presentation creation.
- Trading lifecycle knowledge: Familiarity with the end-to-end trading process - from execution to settlement and documentation.
- Customer-oriented attitude: Strong commitment to delivering high quality services to customers, both internally and externally.
- Team player: Collaborative approach with colleagues across sales, trading, structuring, legal and operations.
- Communication skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills in English. Fluency in Mandarin or Cantonese is required due to regional client coverage.
- Proactivity: Initiative-seekers with a strong interest in capital markets and the desire to grow professionally.
