Graduate Position in Risk (Independent Price Verification) in Lisbon, full-time.

Tasks

- Reporting to the Head of Independent Price Verification (IPV) in Zurich - Contributing to IPV activities for various asset classes, such as equities, funds, credit, foreign exchange, interest rates, bonds, commodities, and currencies - Participation in specific projects and working groups - Contributing to new developments, improvements, and further automation of IPV tools and processes in close collaboration with IT - Reviewing and testing new developments - Interacting with the Trading, Treasury, Middle Office, IT, Accounting, and Project Management teams - Performing quality controls to ensure the integrity of postings and trade entries - Conducting ad hoc analyses on various risk and valuation topics

Training Structure

- Derivatives: multi-asset, Greeks, hedging techniques - Structured products: use, presentation, risks - Systems: Sophis, Bloomberg, Refinitiv - Analytical techniques - Risk control framework - Valuation and product control - Process and control design and analysis

Requirements

- Master’s degree in finance, financial engineering, or a quantitative discipline - Attention to detail - Strong quantitative and analytical skills - Knowledge of basic derivatives - Microsoft Office (Excel, VBA, Word, PowerPoint) - Basic knowledge of databases (SQL) and Python - Team player - Fluent in English, both written and spoken
