Tasks

• Reports to the Head of Independent Price Verification (IPV) in Zurich
• Contributes to IPV activities covering underlying assets and derivatives for various asset classes, such as equities, funds, credit, foreign exchange, interest rates, bonds, commodities, and cryptocurrencies.
• Participation in specific projects and working groups
• Contributes to new developments, improvements, and further automation of IPV tools and processes in close collaboration with IT
• Review and testing of new developments
• Interaction with the trading, treasury, middle office, IT, accounting, and project management teams
• Performing quality checks to ensure the integrity of bookings and trade recordings
• Conducting ad hoc analyses on various risk-related and valuation-related topics

Training and education

• Derivatives: Multi-asset, Greeks, hedging techniques
• Structured products: Use, presentation, risks
• System: Sights, Bloomberg, Refinitiv
• analytical techniques
• Risk control framework – assessment and product control
• Process and control design and analysis

Requirements

• Master's degree in finance, financial engineering, or a quantitative discipline
• Attention to detail
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills
• Knowledge of simple derivatives
• Microsoft Office (Excel, VBA, Word, PowerPoint)
• Basic database (SQL) and Python skills
• Team player
• Fluent in English, written and spoken
