Leonteq is looking for a graduate in risk (market risk and stress testing) in Lisbon to analyze market stress scenarios and assess market risks on a daily basis. The candidate will be part of a 12-month graduate program that may lead to a permanent position.

- Monitor and analyze the evolution and impact of market stress scenarios
- Conduct daily market risk analysis and prepare reporting across asset classes
- Analyze portfolio dynamics as well as position-level sensitivities
- Monitor exposure levels against established limits and alert on key movements
- Support validation of stress scenarios and review calculation methodologies
- Contribute to regression testing for new market developments
- Perform P&L explanations and explore drivers behind daily changes
- Execute ad hoc simulations and portfolio sensitivity analyses
- Engage with cross-functional teams, including Trading, Credit & Liquidity Risk, Middle Office, and IT Development
- Participate in ongoing initiatives and risk methodology projects within the Market Risk function
Education and training
- Derivatives: multi-asset, Greeks, hedging techniques
- Structured products: usage, representation, risks
- Systems: Sophis, Bloomberg, Refinitiv, Morningstar
- Analysis techniques
- Risk control frameworks – market, credit, liquidity, and operational risk
- Risk methodology techniques – stress tests
- Process and control design and analysis
Requirements
- Master's, PhD, or MBA in Financial Engineering, Quantitative Finance, Mathematics, Physics, or similar quantitative discipline
- Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel (VBA a plus)
- Programming experience (Python, R)
- Familiarity with databases (Access or SQL) is an advantage; training provided if required.
- Strong communication skills and proactive collaboration style
- Fluent English, written and spoken
