Job description
The Graduate Legal position is based in Lisbon and is part of the Legal & Compliance department. This is a full-time position.About the role
We are looking for a dedicated and motivated team member to support our Legal & Compliance team. Our organizational values—bringing people together, passion, dedication, quality, and expertise—guide everything we do.Tasks
- Support in monitoring and implementing national and international legal and regulatory developments relevant to the Leonteq Group
- Research and support in the preparation of internal legal opinions or internal memoranda for ad hoc legal issues
- Assisting a team of attorneys in preparing contracts and other legal documents, including service agreements, index licenses, loan and loan security/pledge agreements, distribution agreements, and related documents
- Support for the introduction and implementation of processes, education, and training
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure legal alignment with business projects
- Communicating with internal and external stakeholders and providing legal support for internal and external audit requests
Requirements
- Master's degree in law or other relevant legal training
- Fluent English, knowledge of French or German is an advantage
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact and communicate with stakeholders
- Excellent attention to detail and thorough execution skills; highly organized to meet competing deadlines
- A solution- and service-oriented individual who is eager to learn, committed to their work, and eager to be part of a dynamic team
