Job description

Graduate Legal, 100% in the Legal & Compliance department in Lisbon.

Tasks

• Support in monitoring and implementing national and international legal and regulatory developments relevant to the Leonteq Group
• Research and support in the preparation of internal legal opinions or internal memoranda for ad hoc legal issues
• Supporting a team of attorneys in preparing contracts and other legal documents, including service agreements, index licenses, credit and security/pledge agreements, distribution agreements, and related documentation
• Support with the introduction and implementation of processes, training, and educational measures
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure legal alignment with business projects
• Communicating with internal and external stakeholders and providing legal support for internal and external audit requests

Requirements

• Master's degree in law or other relevant legal training
• Fluent English, knowledge of French or German is an advantage
• Strong communication skills and ability to interact and communicate with stakeholders
• Excellent attention to detail and thorough execution skills; highly organized to meet competing deadlines
• Solution- and service-oriented personality, eager to learn and willing to take on responsibility and be part of a dynamic team
