Group Financial Controller

Job description

As Group Financial Controller, you will play a key role in our team and drive the transformation of our financial controlling function. Your main responsibilities will include:

• Management of the ICS and control framework process for the Group
• Management of procedures and the formation of accounting policies
• Management of the Group’s balance sheet optimization as well as the capital and dividend flows of subsidiaries worldwide
• Monitoring the evolution of chart of accounts, leading discussions on consolidation tools and general accounting/ERP
• Optimization of financial processes and systems
• Coordination with local CFOs and management of the Global CFO

You will lead and manage financial projects from initiation to completion. This includes:

• Preparation of project plans, schedules, and budgets
• Presentations to the ExCo and GBC
• Monitoring project progress and making adjustments as needed to ensure successful project implementation

process improvement

You will identify opportunities for process improvements and propose solutions. These include:

• Process evaluation (from start to finish); identification and targeted resolution of bottlenecks
• Comprehensive management of ongoing developments

Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with:

• Bachelor's degree in finance or a related field
• Banking experience is considered a plus
• Qualified auditor with experience outside of auditing
• At least 8-10 years of experience in a similar role
• Proven track record of managing complex projects and delivering results
• Fluent spoken and written English, French, German, and/or Italian are an advantage.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and corporate law
• Excellent project management skills, including planning, execution, and monitoring, as well as exceptional interpersonal and soft skills
