Group Financial Planner
As a Group Financial Planner at Julius Baer, you will support and drive the Group's financial planning and forecasting processes and be an important part of the Group Performance Management team. You will have the opportunity to influence strategic financial initiatives and act as an interface between management and stakeholders.
Job description
Tasks
- Support and drive the mandate of the Group Performance Management team, responsible for all group-wide financial planning, forecasting and scenario development activities
- Drive financial analysis to explain and predict the development of key balance sheet positions and interest-driven earnings at JB Group, regional and treasury level
- Further development of integrated financial planning capabilities and methods to ensure process efficiency and forecast accuracy
- Supporting strategic initiatives from a financial perspective and acting as a gatekeeper between senior management and business partners
- Preparing presentations with clear and concise messages and focus on delivering the bigger picture
- Engagement with relevant stakeholders across the organization to coordinate forecasting and planning processes
- Contribution to the further development of framework conditions for sales and cost management as well as financial control concepts
Requirements
- Strong academic background: university degree in business administration, finance, economics or equivalent, preferably at Master's level
- Postgraduate qualification (e.g. CFA, FRM, CIA) is a plus
- 5+ years of relevant experience in investment banking, valuation, consulting (Big4) or corporate strategic / financial planning roles, with a focus on the financial services industry
- Business language skills in English, German considered an asset
