We are currently seeking an experienced leader for our IT Help Desk. In this role, you will be responsible for organizing, managing, and developing the IT Help Desk.What you bring with you
- You have a basic degree in computer science or a comparable degree
- Approximately 8 years of experience in IT support or IT service management, ideally in a similar industry
- You have in-depth knowledge of Windows, Microsoft 365, and network environments, as well as a basic understanding of IT security requirements
- Experience in collaborative work, as well as at least 2 years of leadership or project management experience, ideally in the IT help desk field
- You are proactive, dynamic, and self-reflective; you are service-oriented, goal-oriented, communicative, and think and act in a solution-oriented manner
Tasks
- You will be responsible for overseeing ICT, organizational, team, and change management—and you will ensure smooth operations in collaboration with two managers, the service owner, the operations team, and suppliers
- You standardize and optimize processes and support employees—whether by significantly improving IT support, ticket workflows, escalation quality, or the user experience
- With Citrix, Exchange, VMware, physical mobile devices, and control systems, you face the pitfalls, obstacles, and challenges of everyday business life on a daily basis
- You serve as a role model and leader for your team. Your colleagues value you as a leader and see you as a competent partner
- You are in constant communication with first- and second-level support and represent their interests within the team
