Group Leader, Underwriting—Property and Casualty Insurance (FR/DE)

Tasks

• You lead, prioritize, and organize the team’s activities in pursuit of shared success
• By providing close support in day-to-day operations and implementing targeted tactical management of team performance, you ensure seamless management of team workload for routine underwriting tasks.
• You translate strategic guidelines into clear objectives and ensure that the selected indicators track the desired progress
• You support the professional development of your employees, foster their independence, and ensure the consistent application of underwriting guidelines
• You will handle selected underwriting files and participate in and contribute to cross-functional projects
• They work closely with the young leaders in the division

Requirements

• Swiss Federal Certificate in Insurance or equivalent training
• Substantial professional experience in property and casualty insurance, specifically in the assessment and underwriting of risks
• Initial or substantial leadership experience, as well as the ability to make decisions and take on responsibility
• Native proficiency in German or French (or C2 level), as well as very good written and spoken proficiency in the other language (at least B2 level, ideally C1)
• Proficiency in Using Common MS Office Applications
• A dedicated, reliable, and organized person
• A strong focus on the customer, as well as a positive and solution-oriented mindset
