Trade and Market Analyst (m/f/d)

Job description

Tasks

• Maintaining contractual relationships with brokers and banks
• AML initiation for the technical configuration of the order routing systems on the trading side
• Back office testing of trades and monitoring of the book
• Trade execution: Independent execution of trading orders in various asset classes (e.g. equities, bonds, derivatives, foreign exchange)
• Market monitoring: permanent observation and analysis of the financial markets in order to identify market and price-related movements
• Trade management: close cooperation with portfolio management for optimal execution
• Risk and compliance management: adherence to regulatory requirements, monitoring of trading activities and ensuring a controlled trading environment
• Use of technology: operation and optimization of modern trading systems and platforms to increase efficiency in trading
• Reporting: Preparation of reports and analyses on trading activity and regular communication with internal stakeholders
• Teamwork: Collaboration with other traders and analysts to create synergies in the trading process

Requirements

• Training as a bank clerk with additional qualification (EFM, banking specialist or similar) or university degree
• Successfully passed stock exchange trader exam
• Several years of experience in trading equities, bonds (incl. repo transactions)
• Market and product knowledge in the sense of asset allocation / asset management
• Ideally basic knowledge of securities processing with a focus on settlement/custody
• Project and team-oriented knowledge i.S.e. functionality of standard trading software, dealerwise of the systems Wp2 of d&b-bank and DEO/IDE of the software provider: Focus IT
• Efficient and highly competent at the interface between business and IT
• Empathic team player with strong interpersonal skills who enjoys working in a retail environment
